Mt. Cuba Center Internships

Mt. Cuba Center's internship program seeks to develop the next generation of environmental leaders. Interns will learn the basics of native plant identification and ecological gardening while building real-world experience. 

Year-Long Internship

Recent college grads with an interest in the environment can hone their skills and prepare for an entry-level position in the field of public horticulture and conservation. Year-long internships include Greenhouse Production, Native Plant Curation, Natural Lands and Public Engagement. 

Summer Intern Program

This 12-week internship program is designed for college undergraduate students who are interested in exploring career options through hands-on experience. Summer internships available include Arboriculture, Ecological gardening, and Greenhouse and Research.


Acceptance is granted on a rolling basis. Applicaiton deadlines for some programs is March 1, 2017.
