Salary: £24,650 - £26,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
Closing date: 21st May 2017
Kew is the world’s leading botanic gardens, at the forefront of plant and fungal science, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a major visitor attraction.
We want a world where plants and fungi are understood, valued and conserved – because our lives depend on them.
We use the power of our science and the rich diversity of our gardens and collections to provide knowledge, inspiration and understanding of why plants and fungi matter to everyone.
We're looking for two qualified (NVQ L3) and confident supervisors with management experience, to join our Horticulture teams.
Both positions are in high profile areas and the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining world class horticultural standards and in the training, coaching and management of our staff.
These positions are “hands on” and the successful applicants will be expected to carry out a range of horticultural tasks and support Events and Festivals as required.
The supervisor role is vital in the coaching, training and day to day line management of staff, students, apprentices and volunteers so management experience, excellent communication skills and a flexible positive attitude are a must.
