Call for Abstracts for Oral and Poster Presentations

California Native Plant Society (CNPS) 2018 Conservation Conference

February 1-3, 2018, Los Angeles, CA

Abstract Submission Deadline: July 10, 2017

http://conference.cnps.org

Every 3 years, the CNPS Conservation Conference brings together the conservation community from California and beyond to share ideas and information at the largest gathering of its kind. Scientific sessions cover a broad spectrum of topics, and special events provide time for collaboration, networking, and appreciation of our beautifully diverse flora. Visit http://conference.cnps.org to learn more.

Presenting at the conference means sharing your research, project, or new idea with 1,000 other conservationists and native plant enthusiasts who can learn from your work and put new science into action. You may find opportunities for collaboration and new projects or identify research needs, directly impacting the future of native plant and natural resource conservation.

The conference program will focus on communicating the most recent and effective conservation science; all presentations should have a clear connection to native plants or natural vegetation conservation. Presentations will be organized into themed sessions, including Current Research (dedicated to student presentations), a poster session, and five-minute Lightning Talks. View the complete list of session topics at http://conference.cnps.org/technical/sessions.

The Call for Abstracts is open now through July 10, 2017. Full details, including abstract requirements and how to submit, are available at http://conference.cnps.org/technical/abstracts.
