The proceedings from BGCI’s 9th International Congress on Education in Botanic Gardens have just been published

1 December 2015

The proceedings from BGCI’s 9th international congress on education in Botanic Gardens held at Missouri Botanical Garden, last spring, have been published. The documents contain the congress summary, papers, posters and additional resources. To compliment the proceedings Missouri Botanical Garden have also published all of the presentations delivered at from the congress.

These resources provide access to all of the fantastic research, discussions and information that was shared during the congress. The week-long event was a great success with 296 delegates from all over the world congregating in Missouri, St. Louis for a full programme of exciting and lively activities and discussion.

The publication of the proceedings and presentations is a continuation of the congress and a way to provide long term support and resources for delegates once they return back to their institutions. It is hoped that the proceedings will be of great use to botanic garden education professionals and encourage communication and idea sharing between them. BGCI would like to thank all those who submitted their work to be published and Missouri Botanical Garden for completing the tireless job of publishing the presentation slides.
