I manage plant conservation projects in Africa (Malawi and Uganda) and the Indian oceans (Mauritius and Rodrigues). I am interested in ethnobotany and the interactions between conservation and development at the local level. I developed this interest, with managing ethnobotanically focussed project datasets at the Millennium Seed Bank working on the Useful Plants Project until 2017.
