Dr. Ari Novy is a plant scientist and educator with a wide range of expertise in plant conservation, restoration, botanic garden management, plant genetics, science education and science policy. He started his botanic garden career as manager of all public programs, including education and science programs, at the U.S. Botanic Garden in Washington, D.C. He later became the Executive Director of the U.S. Botanic Garden and currently serves as the President and CEO of San Diego Botanic Garden in California.
