I have achieved my Doctorate Degree in Plant Biology in 2017 at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Since 2010, I have been a researcher at the Recife Botanical Garden. In Recife Botanical Garden, I have started studies in reintroduction of Bromeliaceae and have conducted a program of trips for seed collections of endangered species. In addition, I work with taxonomy, phylogeny and biogeography of Poaceae and Bromeliaceae. I also develop floristic works in Priority Areas for Conservation in the Brazilian Northeastern.
