The Vallarta Botanical Gardens opened its gates to the public on the year 2005. Currently, we have more than 34 hectares of land, where more than 500 species of plants and animals can be found. The whole property of the Vallarta Botanical Gardens is destined to conservation, preservation and sustainable tourism. We have been awarded multiple times with different awards from all over the world, including “Top 10 most beautiful Botanical Gardens of North America”, “Top 10 Botanical Gardens that are worth traveling for”, among others. We currently have 4 different conservatories, multiple interpretative trails, tour guides, we offer free educational visits to school groups, and we have more than 50 staff members that provide maintenance to the gardens and aide to all visitors. We have expertise in ecological restoration, conservation, in-vitro culture of orchids and we have participated in multiple projects of reforestation of the region, .
