The National Tropical Botanical Garden is seeking candidates for the position of Full Time Horticulture Manager of the South Shore Gardens, located on Kauai, HI.

The purpose of this position is to ensure the ongoing health, longevity, and aesthetics of all plantings within the McBryde, Allerton and Visitor Center Gardens in alignment with NTBG’s conservation, research, cultural & historic preservation and educational goals. The position’s primary responsibility is leading a team of diverse staff to care for plant health and display horticulture in all of the South Shore Gardens. It entails collaboration with other departments within NTBG as needed. This is a “hands-on” physically demanding position that requires dynamic leadership skills.
