DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MONDAY 15th May 2023. 

Every year BGCI opens the Marsh Awards for International Plant Conservation and Botanic Garden Education sponsored by the Marsh Trust. We are delighted to announce that nominations for the 2023 awards are now open.

The Marsh Trust was set up in 1981 and they run a portfolio of awards which recognise the contribution of dedicated individuals, working across various sectors, who are trying to improve the world we call home.

Last year saw the recipients praised for impressive work, including:

• Raising awareness of native biodiversity
• Developing skills in the local community
• Research and conservation on a local and international level
• Training and education initiatives
• Innovating seed conservation, storage, and utilisation
• Process and guideline development and publication
• Negotiating COVID-19 restrictions to continue outreach

We cannot wait to see the incredible nominees for this years awards.
