Thanks to funding from AFoCO, we are delighted to be able to offer four bursaries from individuals within Southeast Asia to attend BGCI’s International Congress on Education in Botanic Gardens, to be held in Seoul, South Korea from 9 to 13 June 2025.

Successful applicants will receive a bursary to cover their Congress registration, travel and accommodation.

To be eligible to apply for a bursary you must meet the following criteria:

• Be from a botanical institute in Southeast Asia*
• Work in an education or engagement role
• Agree to take part in a workshop session on education in botanic gardens in Southeast Asia

Priority will be given to applications from low and middle income countries in Southeast Asia.

Applications will be assessed on the eligibility criteria and the impact on attendance of both the individual and their institution.

The deadline for applications is 28th February 2025.
