Abstract submissions for the 7th Global Botanic Gardens Congress are now open!

This is a valuable opportunity for you to shape and contribute to the conversation and dialogue at the Congress as we examine the theme Influence & Action: Botanic Gardens as Agents of Change.

The Congress will be held this year in Melbourne, Australia, from 25-29th of September.

If you wish to submit an abstract for consideration, you will also need to register for the Congress in due course. Online submission is the only method of submitting abstracts, and their receipt being acknowledged by the organisers. Authors are welcome to make more than one submission, however consideration will be given to content from a variety of presenters across the program.

Key Dates in the Process:

  • Abstract submissions open: Thursday 10 February 2022
  • Abstract submissions close: Friday 6 May 2022
  • Author notifications: Monday 6 June 2022
  • Deadline for presenters to register: Friday 24 June 2022
