An integrated approach to conservation of threatened plants for the 21st Century, ConservePlants is a network of scientists and other stakeholders from 38 countries, dealing with different aspects of plant conservation, within the COST Programme (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) funded by the European Union.
The main aim of this Action, chaired by Ziva Fiser (Primorska University, Slovenjia) and co-chaired by Giovanna Aronne (University of Naples Federico II, Italy), is to improve plant conservation in Europe: to do so, ConservePlants is implementing knowledge sharing through meetings, workshops, conference sessions, training schools, short research visits, and dissemination events.
