BGCI is delighted to welcome Atlanta Botanical Garden as a Patron Member. As a Patron, Atlanta Botanical Garden joins a growing number of the world’s largest and most influential botanic gardens and will play a key role in guiding BGCI’s future programme.

Renowned plant collections, beautiful floral displays, continually changing seasons and spectacular art exhibitions make the Atlanta Botanical Garden the loveliest place in town to visit. An urban oasis in Midtown, the Garden includes 30 acres of outdoor gardens, an award-winning Children’s Garden, the serene Storza Woods with its unique Canopy Walk, the innovative Edible Garden, and the newest addition, the Skyline Garden, with its breathtaking views of the city.

Its “gardens under glass” include the Fuqua Conservatory, an organic biosphere and home to important collections of tropical palms and conifers; and the Fuqua Orchid Center, displaying the foremost collection of species orchids in the United States. The Garden also offers a full-service restaurant, Longleaf, with terrace and rooftop dining options, as well as a gift shop. Behind the scenes, the staff’s conservation work includes wetland preservation and carnivorous plant bogs across the Southeast as well as endangered species of orchids from around the world.

The Garden presents a continuous array of diverse programs, from art exhibitions, orchid shows and a scarecrow festival to a tour of private gardens, an outdoor summer concert series, and a holiday light show. In addition to the Midtown campus, the Garden offers a sister campus one hour away in north Georgia — the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Gainesville.
