BGCI are delighted to have received news that, after a review of the Royal Patronages following the passing of the late Queen, His Majesty King Charles has retained his Patronage of Botanic Gardens Conservation International.

Members of the Royal Family serve as Patrons of over 3000 charities, military associations, professional bodies, and public service organisations across the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth, and the wider world. Whilst some organisations work on a national or international scale, others dedicate their time to local communities supporting specialist causes. We are honoured that our work for global plant conservation is one such cause that is supported in this way.
