The State of the World’s Trees report was launched 1 September 2021 and highlighted that at least 30% of the world’s trees are threatened with extinction, more than double the number of threatened mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. However, there is hope. There are success stories of bringing species back from the brink of extinction, and there are excellent examples of incorporating threatened trees into restoration programmes.
In this webinar, we explore how the results in the State of the World’s Trees report can be used to catalyse and better inform conservation action for the world’s most threatened trees, giving inspiring conservation success stories and practical ways to take action.
