We are currently inviting articles for our upcoming edition of the BGJournal, planned to be released in July/August 2024. 

In this edition, we aim to focus on the efforts botanic gardens, arboretums and other plant organisations are making in their plant collection management for enhanced plant health. Specifically, we would like to hear about: 

• Improving biosecurity practices 
• Research and monitoring of pest and diseases 
• Strategies for mitigating the impact of pest and diseases 

We invite you to submit article suggestions to gcc@bgci.org with the subject “BG Journal Abstract” before the 18th of May 2024. Articles can be submitted in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Should your article proposal align with the journal’s aim, we will send you the author guidelines and deadline for the completion of the article. 

We believe your contribution holds immense value in advancing plant collection management and fostering best practices across the world. We hope this issue will enrich the collective understanding and increase collaboration in relevant research.
