We regret to inform you that due to the ongoing impact of the COVID pandemic, we have decided to take the difficult decision to cancel the 11th International Congress on Education in Botanic Gardens, which was due to be taking place in Buenos Aires, Argentina on the 13-18^th March 2022. This decision was made in conjunction with the team in Buenos Aires. We are currently in discussions around where and when the next education congress will take place and will update our website when further information is available.

However we are pleased to say that we have been in discussions with the hosts of the next Global Botanic Gardens Congress and will be embedding a stronger educational theme throughout the 7^th Global Botanic Gardens Congress happening in Melbourne, Australia, from the 26-30^th September 2022. The first day of the congress, will now be entirely devoted to educational sessions, in addition multiple workshops and lectures will be embedded throughout the rest of the week. More details about the event and how to submit an abstract to follow.

We would like to thank Jardín Botánico “Carlos Thays” in Argentina for all their enthusiasm and efforts in trying to organise an International Congress on Education, during the pandemic and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in Melbourne at the Global Botanic Garden Congress in 2022.
