The Huntington and San Diego Zoo, in partnership with Botanic Gardens Conservation International, US and Center for Plant Conservation, are happy to announce a 4-day cryobiotechnology training geared to the botanic garden community. Eight spots are available on a first come first served basis. The training is meant to introduce both the theory and practice of plant cryobiotechnology and offer hands on training in a laboratory environment.

Dates: 25-28 March 2025

This year’s training gives priority to participants from US-based botanical gardens.

Travel support is made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services MG-255609-0MS- 24, specifically for US-based Botanical Gardens.

Please contact Heather Allison at hallison@huntington.org for more information or to reserve a spot.
