Back in September 2021 the Friends of Kings Park “For People and Plants” magazine had a special issue devoted to the Decade on Ecosystems Restoration. This issue has numerous articles on numerous projects across Western Australia that the Kings Park and Botanic Garden has been supporting. It also includes an article on international connections and efforts the garden has been supporting, in Saudi Arabia and Malawi.

BGCI’s work in Malawi continues. This year BGCI’s Plant Conservation Project Manager, Alex Hudson visited the project area twice in January and April to set up the new trials. Follow these links more information on BGCI project updates for the Malawi cedar and other projects.
