We are excited to announce that registration is now open for a training workshop ‘Conducting Ex Situ Gap Analysis for Conservation Metacollections Management‘ from May 7th-9th!
This free virtual workshop will consist of 3 half-day sessions led by members of The Atlanta Botanical Garden, The Morton Arboretum, Montgomery Botanical Center, San Diego Botanical Garden and BGCI-US.
This training workshop is part of an IMLS grant-funded project ‘Growing Metacollections and Strengthening Gardens for a Conservation Consortia Future,’ that includes the development of a gap analysis tool designed for botanic gardens and arboreta managing conservation collections. The workshop will include hands-on training with this gap analysis tool along with practical guidance on managing conservation collections from project contributors.
