The Morton Arboretum’s Center for Species Survival for Trees (CSS: Trees) co-hosted a workshop with IUCN’s Global Tree Specialist Group (GTSG) March 9-10.
The workshop was organized by the GTSG Chair, Malin Rivers, and The Morton Arboretum team Silvia Alvarez-Clare, Amy Byrne, Vania Pereira (Longwood Fellow) and Michelle Czmil.
20 participants from 8 countries participated to develop the specialist group’s work plan targets that will be implemented over the next four years for global tree conservation. The draft work plan will be shared with specialist group members very soon.
If you have any questions or would like to join the Global Tree Specialist Group, please reach out to the Chair, Malin Rivers.
