IUCN Red List Training with BGCI and the Global Tree Assessment team
On 29 April – 1 May BGCI will be hosting a three-day IUCN Red List training workshop run by the Global Tree Assessment team. This will be offered both in person (at Descanso House, Kew) and online. Both options will include the full IUCN Red List training workshop containing training presentations, exercises and practical sessions. For more information see www.iucnredlist.org/resources/workshops.
We are able to offer 10 places in person, and a further 10 places for online training. We will prioritise people that want to attend the full three days of training and practical sessions. Anyone that is only interested in attending (online only) the presentations and exercises, without the practical sessions, can express their interest below, and we will accommodate you if we have capacity.
The training is free of charge. Unfortunately, we are unable to support travel and subsistence for people attending in person. Please fill out the application form below by 4th of April. We will let you know by 11th of April if your application has been successful. If you have any questions, please contact Kathryn Fowler (kathryn.fowler@bgci.org) and Magda Svensson (magda.svensson@bgci.org).
