As part of Kew’s ambitious commitment to training the next generation of biodiversity scientists, Kew is expanding its postgraduate training offer with the launch of two new MSc courses.

The MSc programmes offer the opportunity to study at the world-famous Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, with unrivalled access to its scientific expertise, collections, laboratory facilities, partnerships and landscapes.

Students can now choose between three MSc programmes at Kew in partnership with Queen Mary University of London or Royal Holloway, University of London:

MSc in Plant and Fungal Taxonomy, Diversity and Conservation

Gain an in-depth understanding of plant and fungal taxonomy and diversity alongside conservation theory and practice.

MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation

Develop essential skills in conservation and restoration of biodiverse plant habitats and conduct research across the world’s most biodiverse ecosystems.

MSc in Global Health: Food Security, Sustainability and Biodiversity

At the intersection of environmental and human health, explore the crucial link between biodiversity, sustainable livelihoods and food security.

MSc Open Day – 6 April 2022

Find out more about the MSc programmes at Kew Gardens in person. You’ll have the chance to meet the course directors, chat with some current and former MSc students, view the science facilities, and go on exclusive tours behind the scenes at Kew.
Programme
2–3pm: Introduction to Kew and the MSc programmes
3–4pm: Behind-the-scenes tours
4–5pm: Informal chats with the MSc teaching staff and students, over refreshments. Free time to explore the Gardens.
