Longwood Gardens is bringing our long-time plant conservation commitment to the forefront in our updated mission statement: “Longwood Gardens is the living legacy of Pierre S. du Pont bringing joy and inspiration to everyone through the beauty of nature, conservation, and learning.” We envision a future where beauty is accessible to all and will continue to connect our work in conservation to the preservation and enrichment of our global garden. Additionally, Longwood Gardens is a proud BGCI Patron Member and now serves on BGCI’s International Advisory Council.
