We have just launched a new module on BGCI’s training platform: Introduction to science communication.

This introductory module is aimed at education and engagement professionals within botanic gardens as well as anyone who would like an introduction to the subject. It looks at key definitions of science and communication, a short history of science and society, public opinions of science, and a variety of examples and best practices for creating engaging science communication materials.

This module is one of a suite of modules available on the BGCI training platform and is free to access for BGCI members. To find the enrolment key to access the module, users should go into their sheep app where the enrolment key can be found under the member benefits section.
