Regrowing the planet’s forests on a massive scale this decade will change everything about life in 2050. Achieving planetary-scale reforestation and ecosystem restoration will substantially reduce the impacts of climate change, establish novel industries and green economies based on thriving natural systems, and create new jobs in forestry, forest tech, and beyond.
Reaching this forested future will require innovation to spur the speed and scale of restoration, actively monitor the health of the new forests and other revitalized ecosystems, and establish the human networks these ecosystems need to survive for the long term.
Join Restor CEO Clara Rowe, American Forests President and CEO Jad Daley, Pachama VP of Carbon Origination Josh Parrish, and Terraformation VP of Growth Yee Lee on March 10 at SXSW in Austin, TX to learn how we’re envisioning — and innovating — our forested future.
