We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the 11th International Congress on Education in Botanic Gardens, taking place in Seoul, Korea, from June 9-13, 2025.

Under the theme “Education for Change: The Role of Botanic Gardens in Addressing Global Challenges,” the Congress will bring together global leaders and experts to explore the outcomes and future directions of education in botanic gardens. With the accelerating dual crisis of climate change and biodiversity loss, it is more critical than ever to collaborate and explore how education for sustainable development, led by botanic gardens, can address these pressing global issues.

Congress Programme

The main Congress will be held at the COEX Convention in Seoul from June 9-13, 2025. The programme features plenary sessions, panel discussions, workshops, poster presentations, and a Worldwide Botanical Art Exhibition. Also, on June 13, participants will have the unique opportunity to visit the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) Botanic Garden for a special session and tour, along with other optional field tours in Seoul.

The Congress will serve as an interactive platform for meaningful discussions with global leaders and experts in the field of botanic garden education.
