From the 1 million species threatened by extinction, to the current global pandemic of COVID-19, in the words of World Biodiversity Forum Organizer, Dr. Cornelia Krug: “Biodiversity is life on earth. Without biodiversity, humans would not be able to exist.”

This was the key takeaway at the first World Biodiversity Forum in Davos, Switzerland, which brought together more than 520 experts from 60 countries across the globe. On this stage, we had the distinct honor to participate as the only for-profit organization in attendance.

In the aftermath of the World Biodiversity Forum, our work is only just beginning. While all can agree that global conversations are necessary, the most urgent need is for action.

Our friends at TEALEAVES have developed a short video featuring BGCI Secretary General, Dr. Paul Smith! Enjoy!
