This year’s annual International Plant Sentinel Network (IPSN) meeting for UK members and partners will take place on the 18th of November at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE). This will be an opportunity to catch up on all network activities, highlight network initiatives for the year ahead, discuss key biosecurity issues, and learn about best practices from the RBGE’s biosecurity programme with a tour around the garden. Additionally, we will review additions to the UK’s Risk Register.
The meeting fosters collaboration between national botanic gardens and partners including national plant protection organisations across the UK. It also helps the IPSN identify key themes to support and enhance biosecurity efforts across our entire network. This event is valuable for all participants, offering a supportive platform for networking and discussing important issues in plant biosecurity.
