The Caribbean and Central American Botanic Garden Network (CCABGN) presents a regular series of virtual talks introducing you to experts in the different aspects of the role and technical management of botanic gardens in the region.
A month ago we presented BGCI’s Global Botanic Garden Fund (GBGF) which aims to drive plant conservation and support botanic gardens in their missions. The GBGF is made up of a number of grants which aim to drive plant conservation, sustainability efforts, and global partnerships with a focus on botanic gardens and arboreta in biodiversity hotspots. With the new opportunities for funding opening in mid-April join us to learn how to prepare a successful proposal.
Patricia Malcolm, (BGCI’s Head of Membership and Conservation Services) gave us a walk through all the opportunities available via the GBGF and Charlotte Ely (BGCI’s Conservation Services Officer) provided us with detailed information about the different parts of the application and reporting.
The talk was in English and is now translated into Spanish. If you missed it here is the recording
