The Southeast Asia Botanic Garden (SEABG) Network presents a regular series of virtual talks introducing you to experts in the different aspects of the role and technical management of botanic gardens in the region.

The next talk will be all about BGCI’s Global Botanic Garden Fund (GBGF) which aims to drive plant conservation and support botanic gardens in their missions. The GBGF is made up of a number of grants which aim to drive plant conservation, sustainability efforts, and global partnerships with a focus on botanic gardens and arboreta in biodiversity hotspots. With the new opportunities for funding opening in mid-April join us to learn how to prepare a successful proposal.

Patricia Malcolm, (BGCI’s Head of Membership and Conservation Services) will give us a walk through all the opportunities available via the GBGF and Charlotte Ely (BGCI’s Conservation Services Officer) will provide us with detailed information about the different parts of the application and reporting.

The talk will be in English and will be streamed live via Zoom on the 24 April 2024 4:00-5:00 pm PHST ( 09:00-10:00 am BST).
