Global Tree Specialist Group Newsletters

BGCI hosts the Secretariat for the The IUCN/SSC Global Tree Specialist Group (GTSG), a global network of experts who, working in their own regions and institutions, all contribute to the conservation of globally threatened trees.

The GTSG is one of over 120 IUCN Species Survival Commission Specialist Groups and Red List Authorities.

The group has over 140 expert members from botanic gardens, herbaria, universities and both governmental and non-governmental organisations represented. Each quarter a newsletter is shared with the membership providing updates on the Global Tree Assessment, other news and calls to action for the group.
